Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes — completely free, no signup, no watermark, and no limit on how many codes you make. The PNG and SVG files are yours to use anywhere, including commercially: print, packaging, menus, posters, and products.
Do the QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes — your link or data is encoded directly into the pattern. There's no redirect server and no account behind it, so the code never expires and keeps working forever, even offline. (The trade-off: you can't edit where it points after printing, so double-check the link first.)
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is generated inside your browser with JavaScript and HTML canvas. Your link, WiFi password, or contact details never touch a server. Open DevTools → Network while you type — you'll see zero requests.
How does a WiFi QR code work?
It stores your network name, password, and security type. When someone points their phone camera at it, the phone offers to join automatically — no typing needed. Enter your SSID and password, pick WPA (most common), then download or print it for your reception or home.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Upload a PNG or JPG and it's placed in the centre with a clean white border. QR codes have built-in error correction, so a small centre logo still scans reliably — we automatically raise the error-correction level to H when you add a logo.

Use PNG for screens, WhatsApp, social media, and quick prints. Use SVG for professional print, large banners, and packaging — it's a vector that stays razor-sharp at any size, from a business card to a billboard.
What error-correction level should I pick?
Error correction lets a code still scan when part of it is dirty, damaged, or covered by a logo. L ≈ 7%, M ≈ 15% (a good default), Q ≈ 25%, H ≈ 30%. Choose H when adding a logo or printing on surfaces that may get scuffed.
Will a WhatsApp QR open a chat directly?
Yes. Enter your number with country code (91 for India) and an optional message. Scanning opens WhatsApp with your chat ready and the message pre-typed — ideal for shop counters, flyers, and visiting cards.
